The VLE has been designed with many pedagogically sound features to achieve the following outcomes:

  1.  To promote social, personalised and collaborative e-Learning: Each student has an individual blog, micro-blog (or status updates) and many other tools. Every update and contribution from learners feed into a central page viewed by everyone.
  2. To promote mobile language learning: the mobile VLE version allow students to access and complete online tasks on the move using mobile devices.
  3. To encourage inline-publishing which is time-saving, user-friendly and conductive to consistent and spontaneous writing sharing of resources (text, audio, image, etc)
